Glasgow four-piece The Hedrons are set to make UK music history, by becoming the first British act to host a live virtual concert.
Taking place on September 9, the special gig will see The Hedrons play live at a Glasgow location, whilst at the same time The Hedron’s 3-D animated equivalents will be performing within online world Second Life’s virtual venue ‘The Hedro Dome’.
Second Life, a virtual network that’s best described as a cross between MySpace and The Sims, has over 650,000 members, and allows users to construct versions of themselves in 3-D.
Potential attendees need to register themselves, or at least their virtual equivalent, at http://secondlife.com/join. Alternatively, you can hear the whole gig live at thehedrons.com.
‘I Need You’ is taken from The Hedrons’ forthcoming debut album ‘One More Won’t Kill Us’.
