Muse have hinted that they will be doing a seaside tour of the UK next year.
They will follow in the footsteps of The Kooks who played at various coastal venues this summer.
Frontman Matthew Bellamy says that following their European dates later this year, they want to do something special in 2007.
He told xfm: “Well, at the moment we’re doing a tour of Europe. And the end of the year and playing a few Wembley’s or something, but we’re thinking of saving something a bit more interesting for next year, in terms of playing outdoors, or something.”
“We were talking of doing a tour of beaches, maybe, because we’re kind of from the seaside. We like the idea of doing a tour of seaside resorts around the UK. But maybe we’ll save that for next summer.”
