The Killers have paid homage to Noel Gallagher saying the Oasis lycnhpin is “real regular dude.”
The Las Vegas band supported Oasis on tour last year, in which time they forged a close bond with the older Gallagher.
Frontman Brandon Flowers also said that Noel helped them with the recording process on their second album ‘Sam’s Town.’
He explained to mtv: “I saw Noel a few months before we started the album. He had the same mentality about our band as he had for his own – just go and make the album.”
Flowers continued: “He likes our band, but we’ve hung out after one of our shows and he was a real regular dude. He’s funny, real funny. He’s a happy guy.”
