Klaxons have named their eagerly anticipated debut album.
The long-player has been dubbed ‘Myths of the Near Future’ – a title it shares with a collection of short stories by JG Ballard.
The album is almost complete, with the band busy at work with producer James Ford over the past two weeks.
Explaining the album’s title, frontman Simon Taylor told the NME: “It’s called Myths of the Near Future’ because that’s what all the songs are about. It came before the album.”
Kalxons hit the road at the end of the month for a joint tour with Shitdisco and Datarock.
