The Mars Volta have hit out angrily at the fan who bottled them onstage at a recent show in Washington.
The prog-rockers walked offstage at the show at the University of Washington on August 12 after being pelted with water filed missiles.
At the time, the band were notoriously captured on camera asking for the fan behind it to be ‘beaten to death.’
Now, a month later, it seems the feelings still remain. Cedric Bixler-Zavala told PS: “That pussy was about 16 and there with his mom.
“Why should bands have to put up with that lack of respect? He threw water on our amps. That’s like me being invited to your house and setting it on fire.”
