Craig Nicholls has revealed that The Vines already have ten songs for their next album.
Speaking to Zane Lowe on his MTV2 Gonzo show Nicholls said recording would begin early next year.
When asked when the band would return to the studio he replied: "Early in 2007, I want to get the album out at the end of the year."
He added: " I have ten songs right now that I'm happy with."
The record will be the follow up to this year's 'Vision Valley'.
The Vines release their new single 'Don't Listen To The Radio' on September 25.
