Massive Attack have been forced to pull out of their appearance at the Toronto V Festival this weekend over paperwork.
The Bristol band say that despite their best efforts, their US immigration Visas haven’t come through in time for them to perform.
A statement from the band reads: "In spite of timely and coordinated efforts, the essential U.S. immigration visas were not issued in time for the beginning of the Massive Attack North American tour."
Broken Social Scene have been drafted in to replace them on the bill.
The trip hop outfit have also had to postpone three tour dates in Montreal (September 11), Detroit (12) and Chicago (13) because if the hitch.
Their remaining tour dates are thought to be unaffected.
