Now that the gates at Worthy Farm have opened up, here's a travel and weather update for the weekend.
Fans have been pouring into the site, which is said to be quite muddy at the moment, due to heavy rain in the past few days. However, organisers predict it will be sunny over the next couple of days (24th and 25th June).
Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis has said: "There are quite a lot of people already on site - workers and the like - and it is pretty buzzing already, despite the rain. Because the ground is so dry, it has soaked up pretty well. The rain is predicted to clear this afternoon and the sun to come out." As already reported Eavis has taken extreme measures to keep the rain at bay.
On the travel front their will be a £5 charge for cars to park at the Festival, due to the extra traffic. Measures are being taken to ensure there’s enough space for parking. Fans have been advised to either share their car or leave it at home and use public transport to get to the site.
As already reported Oasis and Sir Paul McCartney will be headlining this years festival.
