Cute Is What We Aim For – 'There’s A Class For This' (Fueled By Ramen) Released 04/09/06

Yet another band to spawn from the Fueled By Ramen label, Cute Is What We Aim For are following in the footsteps of The Academy is… and Panic! ATD, with their attractive hooks and glossy shine formula on single ‘There’s A Class For This.’ With lyrics that come nowhere close to the wittiness of Panic’s and not even a hint of that irresistible charm in singer Shannt’s vocals, it quickly ends leaving no lasting impression on this Gigwise reviewer. All in all, the track is a big letdown for those who want a slice of decent pop rock. Should be forgotten by the time the three and a half minutes are up.
