Radiohead wrapped up their 2006 touring commitments with a show at the Amsterdam Heineken Music Hall last night (August 28).
It was at the same venue where they had to cancel a show in May after the sad death of drummer Phil Selway’s mother.
Just before they played new song ‘Bodysnatchers’, Thom Yorke dedicated the song to those who missed the original show, saying “This is for all the people that came last time and couldn't come back. Sorry about that. This is a new one.”
Amongst the classics, the band were new track happy, airing ‘Arpeggi’, ‘Spooks’, ‘Dollar & Cents’, ‘All I Need’, ‘Nude’ and ‘Videotape.’
The 24 song set was ended with a stirring rendition of ‘Lucky.’
With touring commitments now finished, fingers crossed the album will be along some time soon.
