Keith Richards will not face action for smoking at Hampden Park on Friday night (August 25).
The wrinkly Rolling Stones rocker was at risk of facing a £50 fine, for allegedly lighting up onstage at the show.
His actions seemingly flouted the Scottish laws against smoking in public places.
But now environmental health officers have said that the stage does not count as an enclosed public place specified by the ban.
