Paramore have been forced to cancel their appearance at the Carling Weekend after front woman Hayley Williams fell ill.
17-year-old Williams has been suffering from a minor irritation to her vocal chords all week and has been told by doctors that she needs to rest her voice.
The singer has left a statement saying: "I was really hoping I could make it through the first leg of our US tour and get over for Reading and Leeds, but due to the problems I am having with my voice, we needed to take this week off so I can heal.
“We are really sorry for the change of plans, especially with such late notice. We will be back in October for our first overseas headlining tour and we look forward to making it up to you.”
The Tennessee band were due to appear on the Radio 1 Lock Up Stage at the music extravaganza that takes place this weekend.
However, they will still honour their UK tour which kicks off this November.
