Keane front man Tom Chaplin has admitted himself to the Priory for alcohol and drug addiction.
The band cancelled three shows last week in Ibiza, Edinburgh and Dublin with the reason being given that Chaplin was suffering from exhaustion.
However, he has now admitted that he has spent some time in rehab and re-admitted himself after the bands performances at the V Festival over the weekend.
He admiited in a statement: “I’ve admitted myself to the Priory to get the professional help I need to overcome my increasing problem with drink and drugs.”
“I’m looking forward to sorting myself out and getting back to playing again as soon as possible.”
