John Peel's Son Gets His Own Radio Show

John Peel’s son is set to fall his legendary father into broadcasting with his own radio show.

Tom Ravenscroft will host his show from this Thursday on Channel 4’s online station Slashmusic.

Speaking about the new venture he said: "The aim of Slashmusic is to give exposure to the vast amount of fantastic music out there that is relatively unknown."

Ravenscroft will select much of the music played on the show from the 12,000 tracks currently uploaded to Chaneel 4’s website by unsigned bands.
