Deftones have confirmed more details about their highly anticipated new album ‘Saturday Night Wrist’.
The follow to their self titled 2003 offering will be released on October 30 and his set to feature a host of the bands friends.
They include System Of A Down’s Serj Tankian on the track ‘Mein’ and what is described as an ‘explicit monologue’ on ‘Pink Cellphone’ from the dirty mouthed front woman of Giant Drag Annie Hardy.
The album was produced by Pink Floyd and Jane’s Addiction collaborator Bob Ezrin and is set to be preceded by the single ‘Hole In The Earth’ on October 16.
Speaking about the new material Chino Moreno said: "The heavy stuff is really, really heavy, really aggressive, and the stuff that's sweet and weird or whatever is sweeter and weirder.”
“A lot of people will probably compare it to 'White Pony', because that was one of the most diverse records that we did. This one's probably the most diverse record we've done."
