Lostprophets Slam Arctic Monkey's In The US Of A

British band Lostprophets have laughed off reports that fellow band; the Arctic Monkeys have cracked America.

The Lostprophets have experienced dramatic success in the US but do not think the Monkeys are capable of doing the same.

The ban’s front man Ian Watkins said: "In the UK, the Arctic Monkeys connected with people singing about very introspective things that had to do with this country.

"Then they go to America and do Snl (Saturday Night Live) and everybody there was like, 'Woo, Arctic Monkeys, best band in the world.'

"And there's some guy in the Midwest going, 'Huh?' That guy doesn't give a **** about social commentary on the streets of Sheffield. They didn't break America, they bounced off".

Now thats not very nice is it?

    • I dont claim to have a thorough knowledge of da prophets music but recently i heard their turgid excuse for punk on the radio. To me their music is as relevant today as something that Tom Delonge may have released from his poo hole circa ’99 - I think they are relevant in the ’mid-west’ because they are churning out the same crap these (AMERICAN)guys have been gorging on for the last 10 years i.e. whiney punk pap........
