The home of country music, Nashville is to honour leading figures in the music industry with their very own walk of fame.
The names of musicians and songwriters will be featured on plaques on the city’s music mile.
The very first inductees on the new walk of fame will be announced in November during the Country Music Association's annual CMA Music Week.
Nashville is already home to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum that features a guided tour of RCA Studio B where Willie Nelson recorded many a tune.
