Potty mouthed singer Peaches is the latest high profile artist to lend support to the PETA campaign.
The Canadian native is set to stand in front of a photograph of a baby seal being bludgeoned, under the slogan ‘Canada’s Club Scene Sucks.’
The star unveiled the campaign in Vancouver yesterday in the hope it will pressure the Canadian government to change their legislation over seal ‘culling’.
A PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) spokesperson said: "Peaches and PETA want an end to the slaughter of baby harp seals, 333,000 of whom were killed for their fur just this year.
"Many of the infants are repeatedly clubbed, and many are skinned alive as their mothers look on helplessly and wail.
"Peaches and PETA bring home the message that the blood on the ice is a direct result when anyone, anywhere purchases any fur."
Previous campaigners against the Seal 'culling' include Paul McCartney and Pamela Anderson.
