Gigwise recently spoke to founding member and drummer with The Sleepy Jackson Malcolm Clark and he revealed to us a few projects the band have in mind.
The Perth based collective are looking to the future despite having only just released their latest offering ‘Personality (One Was a Spider, One Was a Bird)’.
Clark told Gigwise that fans can expect a solo album from himself and Luke Steele but first there will be another Sleepy Jackson album with hopefully the similar line up to their latest rather than the revolving door of old.
"We're thinking of maybe doing another Sleepys album and then doing solo albums. The other guitarist (Lee Jones - who joined after the recording of the new album was completed) is from Perth and he's pretty keen to stick around,” Clark explained.
They’ll then move on to their own material but Clark says fans can expect collaboration between the three on these too.
“Luke will do a solo album, I'll do a solo album and Lee will do a solo album and then we'll release them all at the same time or something."
"I reckon we'd probably still end up playing on each others records but it will be like Luke will be playing on my songs and I'll be playing on his songs and then the same with the guitarist (Jones)."
