Showcasing the best acts from and around the Bolton area. Since its conception in 2004, the festival has grown to become the most anticipated live music event for that area, spanning over 7 days with a gaggle of over 38 acts, and best of all, it's free!

With each day taking on different genres the categories are (for 2006, general trend continues) Young Bands (Friday), Acoustic (Saturday), Metal and Jazz (both on Sunday), Punk (Monday), Electronica/Hip hop (Tuesday) and the crème of the crop playing in the Bolton Music Showcase at the Albert Halls on Thursday.
