Razorlight Retain Album Chart Number One

Razorlight have held on to top stop in the album charts for the second week in a row with their self titled second album.

They held off Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, Poalo Nutini and The Kooks (Still!) to keep hold of the number one spot.

The only new entry in the Top 10 this week was NERD and Neptunes man Pharrell Williams with solo album ‘In My Mind’.

In the singles charts Shakira once again claimed the number one position with ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ while Christina Aguilera moved up to number 2 with ‘Ain’t No Other Man’.

Elsewhere Paris Hilton made her debut on the UK charts with her song ‘Stars Are Blind’ which reached number 35 on the back of download sales.
