Former Clash star Mick Jones has teamed up with his old punk pal Tony James in 2002 to form Carbon/Silicon.
Described by Alan McGee as “The Rolling Stones jamming with a laptop”, Jones says the music the music he and James are making “represents our past, present and future in our own style”. Jones and James were in bands together in the early seventies. While Jones found fame with The Clash, James had his most notable success with Generation X and Sigue Sigue Sputnik. They are currently on a tour around Britain.
