Carling Leeds Festival Gets New Bands Stage

The Leeds portion of the Carling Weekend festival is set to get its own exclusive new bands stage.

The new venue will host unsigned acts including Dirtblonde, Little Ze, Letters And Colours, Ever Since and The Lake Caught Fire.

It will also see performances from several hotly tipped acts including Polytechnic, The Scaramanga Six, Champion Kickboxer, The Lodger and The Somantics.

The festival this year will also have a 3am license meaning fans will be able to drink into the wee hours.

Extra entertainment including BMX displays and possibly a floodlit football pitch could be introduced to counteract recent antisocial behaviour problems on the site according to the NME.
