Thom Yorke has entered The American charts at number two with ‘The Eraser’.
The Radiohead frontman’s solo effort shifted 90,000 units in its first week and was beaten to the top spot by compilation album ‘Now 22.’ Hmmm.
Radiohead’s only album chart number one stateside was with ‘Kid A’ in 2000, although ‘Hail To The Thief’ debuted at three in 2003 selling 300,000 copies.
As previously reported, ‘The Eraser’ is currently one of the favourites to scoop the Mercury Music Prize this September.
