Regal Launches Its Own Singles Club

Parlophone imprint Regal is to start its own singles club, releasing a 7” a month for the next twelve months.

The label, which is home to Lily Allen and probably most noticeable for bringing us the Beta Band, start the new enterprise next month.

Each release will be restricted to a 500 copy special edition run though they will be available for download too.

The first single in the club will be ‘Purple Nights’ by Joana & The Wolf on August 14 with future releases set to come from Indigo Colony in September and Blue Sky Research in October.

Speaking about the new singles club Parlophone/Regal M.D. Miles Leonard says, "The new Singles Club is very much a continuation of what Regal exists for - we've always picked up artists for one-off releases.”

“The plan is to bring out a single a month featuring two tracks from an artist that's doing something that really excites us. Some of these acts might go on to bigger things, some of them might not, but all twelve releases will definitely be worth hearing."
