Johnny Cash has stormed to the top of the Billboard chart with his posthumous album ‘American V: A Hundred Highways.’
The acclaimed work is the legend’s first number since 1969 with ‘Johnny Cash At San Quentin.’
The album also knocked the Dixie Chicks off the top of the country chart with their album ‘Taking The Long Way.’
Despite the good news, the album is the lowest selling number one since Nielson Soundscan started their records in 1991 – selling just 88,000 copies.
The previous lowest seller was Destiny’s Child’s “#1’s” last year which shifted 113,000 units.
