The Music are to headline a free anti-racism event in Liverpool on Sunday (May 30).
The band will be joined by Badly Drawn Boy, Rodney P And Skitz, Haven, and Bloc Party for the gigs, which take place at Liverpool University.
Originally planned for a Manchester venue the ‘Love Music Hate Racism’ event has had to change cities at the last moment and will now be staged at the Liverpool Academy. Manchester Police refused to give the event a license.
Doors for the Liverpool gig open at 6pm and close at 11pm.
Tickets for the gigs are free but are limited to two per person. They can be obtained from the Liverpool Radio City Box Office, and Manchester Piccadilly Box Office. The first 1000 people through the door at the venue will get in without a ticket.
Tickets can also be obatined by ringing 07904816863 from 12noon on Wednesday 26th May, again limited to two per person.
