The Walkmen, Stereolab, The Futureheads, (International) Noise Conspiracy, The Open, The Fiery Furnaces, Eastern Lane, and Sick Of It All have all been added to the billing for the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds.
The bands join the ever so impressive line-up which already features acts such as: The Darkness, The White Stripes, Greenday, Ash, Morrissey, Supergrass, MC5, Super Furry Animals , Auf Der Maur, British Sea Power, Deus, 22-20s, The Stills , Dogs Die In Hot Cars, Funeral For A Friend , Dizzee Rascal , The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Har Mar Superstar, The Icarus Line, The Ordinary Boys, The Bronx , Bloc Party, Graham Coxon, Soulwax, Peaches, The Donnas, Razorlight , The Wildhearts, New Found Glory, Placebo, The Libertines, 50 Cent, Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, Lostprophets, The Streets, The Vines, Hundred Reasons, Placebo, and Jurrasic 5.
As previously reported, weekend Tickets for Reading have now sold out. The festival takes place at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds on August 27 - 29. Tickets for the event cost £105 for the weekend plus camping, with tickets limited to eight per household. Day tickets cost £45.
