Pretty boys Panic! At The Disco say they want to be taken seriously for their music rather than their good looks.
The band say they can tell the difference between real fans who like their music and those who are there just to gawp at frontman Brendan Urie.
Guitarist Ryan Ross blathered to mtv: βIt's kind of disappointing and disgusting in a way, how some people are focusing on how we look.
βI think a lot of those things we think are special β the way we dress, the things we put into our stage show β some fans don't even realize that because they're just drooling over Brendan. I feel like it taints the music.
He continued: "It's a bummer to realize we're in Teen Beat magazine and read some shity article they've written about us being an emo-punk band.
"I've seen those kids at the shows, I can hear them, and I can certainly tell the difference between one of our fans and a Fall Out Boy fan who's just there because they heard we were hot."

i think thats crazy! you should like a band for their music, not for their looks! i started liking panic! because of their music, i didnt realize they were gorgeous untill i saw one of there music vedios, that was AFTER i had their CD.

they’re music is absolutely AMAZING and i didn’t even think he was hot after the first music video i just love their music soo much!! then i saw the video for ”but it’s better if you do” and just fell in love with brendan!
OMG SOOOOO WRONG!!! Panic! At The Disco are AMAZING! and i wont hear anything else against that!! Love them love them love them - and they are amazing live. Totally NOT shit band shit looks - more like AMAZING band and HOT looks. Heard their music first without knowing who they were - and it was AMAZING, found out who they were and THEN saw how HOT they are!
