Lily Allen Storms To Number One

Lily Allen has stormed to the top of the singles chart with her debut proper single ‘Smile.’

The daughter of Keith Allen heavily outsold the nearest competition knocking Shakira and Wyclef Jean from their perch.

Other high entries were Razorlight’s ‘In The Morning’ at three and Paolo Nutini’s ‘Last Request’ at five.

Further down the chart Jamie T debuted at 22 with ‘Sheila’, while The Pipettes’ ‘Pull Shapes’ charted at 26.

In the albums, Muse reigned supreme with their epic new long-player ‘Black Holes and Revelations.’

Johnny Cash’s posthumous release ‘American V – A Hundred Highways’ came in at the respectable position of nine.
