New album, new beef – the calling card of a band with new material coming soon in 2006.
Latest act to join the bandwagon is Kasabian, not exactly noted for their meekness, who have let rip at Bloc Party, Test Icicles, The Automatic and Pete Doherty.
On Bloc Party: "That's their thing, innit, concentrating on what's shit about life,” said Serge Pizzorno to the NME. “In 20 years' time nobody will give a **** about those bands. What's the point in whingeing? That's not what a band's about. A band should be about having a good time. With your mates."
Joining in on the slagfest Tom Meighan said of Test Icicles surprise split: "What a bunch of wankers! Give it up, mate. King's Cross rent boys, we call 'em - all those bands."
Pete Doherty was labelled “a ****ing tramp” (must’ve taken ‘em years to come up with that one!) and The Automatic “horrible”.
Something called ‘Empire’ comes out sometime in the future, expect to hear more crap being spouted before then.
