Lil' Kim To Be Released Early From Jail

Rapper Lil’ Kim is “thrilled” after learning she will be released early from jail tomorrow.

The hip-hop star – real name Kimberly Jones - who had been incarcerated for one year and a day in Philadelphia Federal Detention Center on perjury and conspiracy charges last September, will be released into a 30 day period of house arrest.

She said in a statement, “I am thrilled to be coming home. I thank all my fans for all their letters, as well as my family and friends for all their support throughout the past ten months.”

Kim’s attorney L.Londell McMillan added, “We are pleased that Kim is coming home to start the next phase of her life. She has accepted responsibility and handled herself in an exemplary manner.”
