Marilyn Manson 'Extorting' Johnny Depp

Shock-rocker Marilyn Manson intends to “extort” pal Johnny Depp to be in his new film Phantasmagoria.

The singer is just about to start shooting the movie in France, where the actor now lives, and has high hopes their hard-drinking friendship together will help persuade Depp to make an appearance in his film.

He says, “In less than two weeks, I'm going to France to start production on my film, and maybe convince Johnny to be in it - I'll extort him to be in it!”

Referring to Depp’s famed character in the Pirates Of The Caribbean films Manson adds, “I have hung out with Jack Sparrow, because Johnny is Jack Sparrow. We drink absinthe, that's what we do."

Phantasmagoria will take the form of a series of short films based on the visions of Alice In Wonderland author Lewis Carroll, and marks Manson's debut as a director.
