Rapper DMX has been released from jail after stumping up $25,000 in bail money.
The hip-hop star had spent Thursday night in Westchester County jail after being imprisoned for failing to appear in court on traffic offences following two previous postponements.
He must now try and remember to turn up to court again on 24 July.
The rapper – real name Earl Simmons – is struggling to make a comeback in the midst of multiple run-ins with the police in recent months including being cited for carrying a concealed weapon after being pulled over by cops in Arizona in June.
