Art Brut - Top Of The Pops - Please!!

If any band has tried its hardest to further the now failed cause of the institution that is Top of the Pops over the past twelve months it has to be Art Brut.

Oh how Gigwise loves Eddie Argos’ euphoric yet pleading chant of “Art Brut – Top of the Pops!” throughout each live show.

However, now that the show has been cancelled it seems the band may never fulfil their dream of gracing the TOTP stage, truly a shame we think you’ll agree.

But don’t despair for the fans of Art Brut have started a petition urging the BBC to let them play on the show before its demise.

We urge you to sign it here, maybe the BBC will even take notice – if they do it’ll be a whole load of fun!
