Ultravox singer and Live Aid organiser Midge Ure is set to receive an honorary degree.
Ure will be given the title of Doctor of Music at a ceremony held at the University of Edinburgh.
It’s not the first time Ure has been given such an honour. In October last year he was given a degree by the University of Abertay in Dundee.
In the same month he was also awarded an OBE by the Queen for his services to music and charity.
