James Blunt Wakes Girl From Coma

A young girl was woken from a coma by James Blunt’s popular song ‘You’re Beautiful’.

Claudia Amber Dealwis, aged 5 was left in a coma with a fractured skull when she fell 15ft from a friend’s balcony in Burnley three weeks ago.

Her parents Paul and Gaynor say that Claudia showed no signs of recovery since her accident until the song came on hospital radio at Burnley General Hospital.

Paul said to The Sun of her strange awakening: “Claudia loves that song and is always singing it. It’s like her very own little theme tune.

“We could see her move a bit and we knew she was beginning to wake up. When she opened her eyes we were so relieved. Every little movement was like a massive step.

“The last three weeks have seemed like a lifetime. The doctors told us it was a case of life or death. They were fighting to save her life.”
