The worst thing about this single is that it’s actually really ****ing decent. Oh yes as much as everybody wants to see the megalomaniacal twat get his head caved in by a bunch of rogue pandas in Patti Smith t-shirts, you have to respect the fact he can put together a decent tune, even if this one is a complete rip off of Television’s 'Marquee Moon'. Putting heads together with drummer Andy Burrows seems to have paid off as they have created a nice little ditty that will have all his twelve year old fans foaming at the mouth. Although it doesn’t sound like classic Razorlight, it hints at a more mature Borrell (his influences having jumped from 1975 to 1977) content to let someone else share the pressure of a followup album. Definitely a catchy single that will impress the new wave spray-on jeans generation.
