The Strokes have recorded a cover version of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Mercy Mercy Me’ with a little help from some friends.
According to Billboard the track will feature as B-side on their next US single to be taken from ‘First Impressions Of Earth’, ‘You Only Live Once’.
Joining the band are Josh Homme on drums alongside Fabrizio Moretti while Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder joins Julian Casablancas on vocals.
It is not known as of yet if it will appear of the UK version of the single.
