The Glade stage of Glastonbury festival is off! The popular alternative field of wonder, which in the past has featured acts such as Aphex Twin, is set to debut at its own festival of the same name.

Located in woodlands in Reading, the electronic dance music festival, due to take place from July 16-18, is set to be the after party for the sold out Glastonbury festival. According to NME, organisers have promised various strange sights such as stilt walkers, buddist monks and juggling punks.

There are due to be seven areas covering different genres of electronic music, including techno, electronica, progressive house, breaks and more. Performances are promised from 808 State, Timos Maas, Freq Nasty, Dreadzone Sound System, Youth, AFX and old friend of The Glade, Squarepusher.

Tickets are available now from the usual outlets. Weekend tickets are on sale at £68.50 each, camper vans cost an extra £20, all tickets must be pre-ordered, no tickets will be available on site.
