Former Jane’s Addiction man Perry Farrell is set to return to the airwaves soon with the debut album from his new project Satellite Party.
The band have just signed a deal with Columbia and the eponymous long player will apparently be out later this year.
The record will feature cameos from Red Hot Chili Peppers’ men Flea and John Frusciante plus Peter Hook of New Order.
Farrell told Billboard: "It's going to be a solid group with both female and male players and it's going to be very live and very powerful.”
“But we want to add a nice, healthy dose of female energy into it, especially female voice, because it's wonderful for chorus. We're chock full of great, grand songs."
Tracks destined for the album include proposed first single ‘Dogstar’, ‘Awesome’, ‘Milky Avenue’ and ‘Hard Life’.
