Morrissey has once again denied the constant rumours that he once had a sexual relationship with Michael Stipe.
Talk has been rife for several years that Morrissey and the REM front man once had a relationship with many speculating that he wrote the song ‘Found, Found, Found’ for him.
He told the Times when approached on the subject: “That’s absolute shit; absolute shit and I don’t know why people ever said that, do you?”
Going on to speak about speculation over his sexuality and whether he was straight, gay or bisexual he added: “It’s neither of those things. I’m simply myself, which is inexcusable to many people. I’m not trapped by anything.”
