Loser Pete Doherty has been detained aboard an aircraft after a syringe was found in the toilet.
Doherty and his Babyshambles crew were aboard a flight from Gatwick to Barcelona when the captain radioed ahead to ask police to meet the flight when it landed at El Prat Airport.
Police searched the plane with 142 passengers onboard for around half an hour, a spokesperson told reporters.
Upon being questioned by police, the spokesperson said Doherty became 'angry and aggressive.'
Doherty and co. were not arrested and were allowed to pass freely into the country.
Because of the incident, Doherty and his seven strong entourage have been banned from easyjet flights.
Babyshambles were travelling to perform at the Primavera Festival in Barcelona.
The Pete Doherty saga continues.

Dear Mr. Scott Colothan,
With all due respect, referring to Peter Doherty as a ”Loser” is your opinion and in the article’s byline no less, reveals your inability to accurately report this story. Furthermore, heroin addiction, while certainly tragic, has and always will inspire, in my opinion, some of the best music this world has to offer. I will listen ’til I die.
Respectfully Yours,
Daniel J Stewart

If Doherty hasn’t lost the plot I don’t know who has? I agree about heroin though, it’s every beatnik’s muse.
Dear Mr Daniel J Stewart,
First of all if you read the text it’s reported factually and accurately despite Mr Colothan’s opinion. Secondly since when was the music press bound by conventional news values? It hardly has a hard hitting social impact. Remember this is a man who gleefully squirted his own blood onto someone else. Rock and roll? The man may be talented but he’s a ****.
P.S. I’m just disappointed he’s still considered news worthy.
DEAR MR REEF, The article was reported accurately (I agree). I just feel it is irresponsible of Mr. Colothan to call Mr. Doherty a ”Loser.” ”Since when was the music press bound by conventional news values?” (I agree somewhat). ”The man may be talented” (I agree). ”he’s a ****.” (I agree somewhat). The blood squirting incident is however, irrelevant to this argument. [Continued on next post . . .]
