David Bowie Makes Shock Appearance At David Gilmour Show

David Bowie made a surprise appearance in London last night taking to the stage during David Gilmour’s sold out show at the Royal Albert Hall.

Bowie, who earlier this said he was taking the whole of 2006 off, made the impromptu appearance to perform the tracks ‘Arnold Layne’ and 'Comfortably Numb’ alongside Gilmour and his band.

He wasn’t the only legend to take the stage though as the gig saw cameo’s from Graham Nash and David Crosby on several tracks including their own ‘Find The Cost Of Freedom’.

Gilmour plays two more sold out shows at the Royal Albert Hall tonight and tomorrow.

    This Heaven
Then I Close My Eyes (with Robert Wyatt on cornet)
