Hi: Fi North Axes Six Bands From The Bill

Just twenty-four hours before it kicks off, the Hi: Fi North Festival has been forced to axe some of its acts from the bill.

High winds damaged some vital equipment and meant that the management have had to merge two stages.

This means You Say Party We Say Die, Sound Explosion, The Envelopes, The Marshalls, The Motorettes and competition winners Stone Free will not perform at the extravaganza.

Hi: Fi North features the likes of Maximo Park, Ian Brown, Editors and Dirty Pretty Things alongside some superstar DJs.
