‘Wrong Upstairs’ starts with razor sharp guitars slicing through a fuzzy dirty bassline which is all well and nice but seems to be going nowhere. Then out of nowhere comes a chorus as catchy and fun as anything released this year. “If you want to be carefree, you’ve got to take the pills you see. If you want a love like that, there must be something wrong upstairs” sings Danny Conners. The On-Offs is an appropriate name, the band truly switch themselves on for the chorus of ’Wrong Upstairs’ but seem to be off for the verses. All in all leaving the listener feeling like they have half a song in their possession.
