Kaiser Chiefs, Gorillaz and KT Tunstall were all winners at the prestigious Ivor Novello Awards today.
Tunstall scooped the coveted song of the year gong for ‘Suddenly I See’, while the Kaiser Chiefs claimed album of the year with ‘Employment.’ Gorillaz were crowned songwriters of the year.
Shockingly that c*nt James Blunt won two awards with ‘You’re Beautiful’ taking the best international song and most performed song.
Elsewhere New Order received the outstanding song collection honour, while Athlete won contemporary song of the year with ‘Wires.’
Surprisingly both Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay went home empty handed despite being heavily tipped.
