Goldie Lookin’ Chain and Dizzee Rascal have been added to the bill for the Carling Weekend.
The Welsh rappers, currently in the charts with ‘Half Man, Half Machine’, will play the festival on the main stage on Friday (August 27) in Reading, and Saturday in Leeds (28), while Dizzee will play on the Radio 1 stage on the Saturday in Reading, and the Sunday in Leeds.
Reel Big Fish, Taking Back Sunday, The Roots, Thursday, Dropkick Murphys, The Rasmus, Thrice and Yellowcard also join the billing.
Other acts at the festival are The Darkness, The White Stripes, Greenday, Ash, Morrissey, Supergrass, Placebo, The Libertines, 50 Cent, Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, Lostprophets, The Streets, Graham Coxon, The Von Bondies, The Vines, Hundred Reasons, Placebo, Supergrass, Funeral For A Friend and Jurassic 5.
As previously reported, weekend Tickets for Reading have now sold out. The festival takes place at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds on August 27 - 29. Tickets for the event cost £105 for the weekend plus camping, with tickets limited to eight per household. Day tickets cost £45.
