The Kooks have seemingly stoked war against Razorlight by calling Johnny Borrell “Naïve.”
The band were playing the ultimate show of their tour at the Astoria last night (May 18) when Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard dedicated their top ten track to the tight-jean-clad-one.
Pritchard was reacting to a Johnny Borrell interview where he told the NME: "The Kooks sound like they're rolling over and begging Radio 1 to **** them.
"I heard their single on the radio the other day and it sounds like ****ing Avril Lavigne! If he can live with himself after that production, and if he feels like he has to slag people off to keep up, then I'm sure his nights are long and those moments of doubt are really painful.
"For a start, he models his style on me. And that record is the most horrible thing I've ever heard. It sounds like the band are literally rolling over, sticking their arse in the air and begging Radio 1 to **** them. So **** The Kooks. **** 'em!"

I think calling Johnny Borell a complete twat is a crime, you should be put in prison for that. The Kooks are the twats, they are private school kids who don’t have a clue about the indie scene. Up All Night was an inspiring album, if The Kooks make an album half as good as that they’ll have done fantastic for them. And as for calling Johnny naive, well if you find anyone with anymore charisma than him let me know, The Kooks are just posing ****s.
