Franz Ferdinand played a very surprise set at Radio 1’s One Big Weekend in Dundee yesterday (May 14).
The amiable Scots were kept secret because they are headlining T in the Park in July and organisers didn’t want it to effect ticket sales.
Despite T in the Park selling out in super fast time, organisers decided to keep the surprise away from the 15,000 fans in Dundee.
Alex Kapranos and co. came on to play a brief 15 minute set that included the hits ‘Do You Want To,’ ‘Michael’, ‘Take Me Out’ and current single ‘The Fallen.’
